The “occult” comes from the Latin occultus, meaning hidden, occluded (blocked or obstructed), secret or esoteric knowledge and practices. The occult deals with “supernatural” or “psychic” phenomena, often practiced for obtaining personal power. Dr. Walter Martin said, “The occult is about one word, ‘experience’.” People are often fascinated with it, but it is far from innocent, it is dangerous. God warned His people in the Bible to understand what it is and to have nothing to do with it (Deut. 18:9-14; Gal. 5:19-21). These teachings and interviews will help expose it (Eph. 5:11) for what it is and shine the light of Christ’s power over it. And for those who have dabbled in, or messed with the occult, you will learn of the deliverance from it found in Jesus Christ.
